"AC/DC meets Lynyrd Skynyrd in this wonderfully ambitious set. It's an excellent concept album loosely based on Skynyrd and the southern states of America in general. It's a fun record with some fantastic songs including, Ronnie and Neil, let there be rock(no, not that one), and the enthralling, t..."  [+]  Reply

"Most of the time it sounds like someone vomits into my ears. Very unpleasant to hear. He also sounds very dumb. Don't understand the hype, this is not good music."  Reply

"30 November 2013 This is a pretty good album. There are some real highlights here, such as "Going, Going Gone", "Hazel", "Forever Young" (the first version :() and, of course, "Dirge". The main problem I have with this is it doesn't commit. For every good song there is, in my eyes, a somewhat lam..."  [+]  Reply

"I got this album completely wrong the first time around. It took me a while to get into this because the album is mainly based on grooves and feel rather than out and out melody. The melodies themselves are discreet but repeated listens brings them to the fore. All in all, it's a beautiful record..."  [+]  Reply

"Supergrass gets more complex, more groovy, more funky... and more inconsistent. A little more cohesiveness would make this an amazing album. Instead, it's just really good."  Reply

"Clear Spot sees Captain Beefheart pursuing his blues rock career he restarted with Mirror Man. This album is the clear peak of said blues career. Subsequent releases are seriously lacking in any sort of personality, which Don Van Vliet had become known for. Clear Spot has some instances of him yo..."  [+]  Reply

"One of the most consistent releases from King Gizzard with this album being a ball of pure energy throughout the entire experience. "Cartola's 2nd record is his masterpiece, with 3 of his greatest classics, "Preciso me Encontrar", "O Mundo É um Moinho" and "As Rosas Não Falam". Very romantic, poetic, melodic and melancholic old-fashioned samba, the kind you can't find anymore, because is not commercial or party-oriented. The l..."  [+]  Reply

"The Kinks' classic 1965 album "The Kink Kontroversy" has now also been released in a deluxe edition.
