Smiths. Cure. Bauhaus. Joy Division. Hurray! And even some essential 80s pop like Cyndi Lauper. The 80s was such an exceptional decade for pop it seems a shame not to have a few cheesy entries. but you have. So good. Enjoyed viewing this.

Exceptional chart! I love Double Nickels on the Dime, Remain in Light, Murmur, and The Trinity Session, among many of your other selections. Meat Puppets II is a pretty inspired top ten selection, as well--definitely an album that has never gotten enough love (except from Kurt Cobain).

Great great chart!
Incredibly good picks that everybody should have like Mercedes Sosa, Abdullah Ibrahim, Bauhaus or John Cale!
Why are they nearly forgotten?
- to Kitaro: You`re right: My album of 1986 is not the original. I changed the date and the cover to the original album of 1983. (Who knows if it might have been realeased in japan even earlier?!)
