A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. In the scheme of things, I don't think it's particularly remarkable that this is the one decade I haven't given out any 10s, because I haven't really given out many to begin with. The 70s disproportionately has a lot more 10s, so maybe there's a bias there, but most other decades have only a handful.
To add to that, perhaps with time certain albums will grow on me. I don't know if I'm the one to give an album a perfect score instantly.
The top 4 of this list - for instance - I can see moving up as time goes by.
Also, yes... it seems this chart of the day landed before I had gotten around to doing my end of year update, this has been rectified haha

Exemplary chart for the 2010s. No album this decade has left me floored quite like TPAB, a deserved number 1.
I have to say though, given the ratings for your other decade charts, am I being unreasonable to suggest that the passage of time has rendered your treatment of older records a little softer? The 2010s has by no means been a stellar decade in my view, but for there to be no 10/10 albums and only one 9.5 seems a little harsh to me; I wonder if over the years some of these top picks might creep into your overall chart ... only time will tell!
One other thing - I've noticed your 2018 chart has been changed drastically with Cadu Tenorio taking up the top spot and Car Seat Headrest (which at the moment makes it into your overall top 100) being relegated to number 4. Are you going to change this chart/your overall chart in accordance with your new changes? If so I look forward to seeing the adjustments. :)
