Top 40 Greatest Music Albums

My favorite artists are Van Morrison and Jerry Lee Lewis. I also love the expressive voices of Bobby Bland and Jerry Butler and my favorite rock bands are The Who and The Rolling Stones. Newer artists I like are Josh Ritter, The National and Alabama Shakes. This will probably be relective of my chart. For the most part I have tried to avoid compilation albums.

This album is just perfect. I could listen to it anytime and Van can take you on a wonderful musical journey.

Jerry at his self-referencing best. He conquered rock, why not country.

Over 30% of the choices are in common with my top 100. This should be very interesting once you hit 100. I look forward to seeing the full chart.
