Warren Zevon's major label debut (often incorrectly referred to as his debut album) is a consistent but varied introduction to his music. Several of the best songs of his career on this album. I do think that Zevon leans a bit more into his quirkiness with Excitable Boy and I tend to have a bit more fun with that record, but his songwriting was probably at its best here.
Excellent album. Some real strong songs, flows well. I'm a big Zevon fan. B+ MEZ
