This album made me love myself without having to hate myself first. I love how Kendrick can be so non-chalant about delivering something so powerful, hopefully this will pass up GKMC on the overall charts. My favorite tracks are "Complexion(A Zulu Love)", "i", "Blacker the Berry", "King Kunta", and "Alright".

This album is the aftermath of Jeff Mangum falling in love with Ann Frank after reading her diary and telling stories of him growing up with her to help himself cope. Highlights: "King of Carrot Flowers Pt. II", "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea", "Two-Headed Boy", "Oh Comely", "Holand, 1945".

This is obviously a classic on this website, the way I see it, it's about trying to figure out your place. Best songs are "The National Anthem", "Optomistic", "Motion Picture Soundtrack".

Trent Reznor is one the smartest persons ever considering he made this album. He manages to tell a story of a man and the voices in his head, and his attempts to be a normal human being, until everything backfires and he tries to kill everyone, dies and is sent to hell. The music matches the lyrics perfectly and gives some context to some of the thoughts the character has. "Closer" is a work of genius and a love proposal from an insane man. Highlights are "Piggy", "Closer", "The Becoming", and "Hurt".

A carefree at times and loud and aware album at others, that revolutionized the rock genre.

The Flaming Lips take a solid idea and run with it, telling a great story on top of game-changing instrumentals and production.

A classic album that I grew up listening to while playing video games with my neighbor, great stories of loss and enjoying life.
