From Kurtco
Ah! The Mollusk ... Hipgnosis has certainly not missed his brilliant cover art where an agglomerate of lobsters and other crustaceans of the abyss mingle in a sub-set of the most refined. The title of the tracks pays tribute to the stoic derision that is the soul of the album, including the bright "Waving my dick in the wind". When I discovered Ween (thanks to this album) I immediately laughed but with several listenings I perceived the genius of the band. In this extraordinary album, each piece is a different style from the others. Thus, Ween blithely passes electronic music, folks ballads disturbed, mystical, or just crazy. "The Mollusk" is a little jewel of humor and music, where the skill of these brilliant Ween is revealed with brilliance.

I've listened to this a few times. It's wonderful. So many different styles in one album, but nothing that ever seems like it doesn't fit.

Not my favorite Ween album, but it's still Ween. Mutilated Lips is one of the greatest songs ever.

It gives off the same joy and nostalgia you get from watching old Spongebob episodes

When an album inspires the Spongebob Squarepants show, you know it won't disappoint. There's something magical about it that just captivates me. The Golden Eel, It's Gonna Be (Alright), The Mollusk. All these tracks and others invoke a mood of wonder. Ween always brings the goods.

A great experimental album produced by Ween. All songs seem to relate to the ocean, and it turns out great.

Such a bloody good album, and it only gets better with each listen through. At first I didn't care for it too much but the more I listened through it the more I fell in love with it. Each song is so unique and well written. This band plays around with a lot of their music but even with them doing that they make such masterpieces like this album. If you're considering listening to something new, unique, and fun, check out this album.
