We need more people like you around here! Lots of great albums are ranked ridiculously low just because people don't bother to put in the time to see what makes them so special—A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is a prime example of this.
Anyway, welcome to BEA! Never heard of Jack's Mannequin before, but I just listened to a few pieces of that album and it sounds really, really good. Definitely saving that for a serious listen later. Reminds me of Jellyfish a bit—should definitely hear them if you haven't, I feel like you'd appreciate Spilt Milk as an album despite it not being emo.
