A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Great Chart.
Your picks are a little bit outmoded, but I´m not sure if the Music of the last decades is better than the Music from the 60´s and 70`s...
I´m missing the 1`st Little Feat Album (my favorite) and a Richard Thompson solo album...

Very interesting list, a diverse and a lot of great discoveries, such as Stephen Stills, Tim Buckley, Pentangle, Guy Clark (made with a tribute to this year, perhaps the best album 2012 - This One's for Him: A Tribute to Guy Clark.), Little Feat, etc.. Great! 90/100
