A band at their creative zenith with no limits to their artistic freedom walked away from their sessions with this... an amazing LP with a little bit of everything, easily the bands most accessible and pop friendly record. They strike a wonderful balance between hard rock 'n' roll, progressive rock, folk, and roots music. All the time their flow is flawless and the music on each song is executed perfectly. Jimmy's production is on point as always. [First added to this chart: 01/17/2018]

The Who's masterpiece! Pete Townshend's songwriting and composing work is fantastic, Keith's drumming is always on point, and Entwistle's bass is unforgettable. Roger's vocal performances are as fantastic as ever too. [First added to this chart: 01/17/2018]

Classic rock 'n' roll music. Mixed in with blues, country, folk, and countless other influences, this is a work that defined its era and inspired plenty of bands for the future. It's music is ruled by the interplay between Mick Taylor and Keith Richards, Mick specifically tears through Can't You Hear Me Knocking. [First added to this chart: 01/17/2018]
