For me music has really died by 2010 (after being quite sick in the 2000's), some new ideas since 2010 but mainly bad ones, recycled, re-hashed with terrible repetitive lyrics. Some of the 'pop' records now played in the shops truly make me (and my significant other) want to leave the shop immediately to get away from the discordant row coming out of the speakers. The charts have always been full of truly bad records, but now there is not even the occasional good record in there. My 2010's chart consists of albums by artists that have been around for a long time (apart from Adele, an album I could not believe was that boring).

Which pretty much confirms that the 2010's is a musical desert for me!

Don’t give up on the decade Goliath. There are bands around who I think you’d get into. Just off the top of my head check out endless boogie and blues pills. I think that you might dig them
