Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by Spyglass

My chart is ordered from best to worst. These albums I have chosen are albums that go above and beyond the boundaries of music, and have brilliance to share in whatever forms they take. All of the albums I've chosen are very special to me in one way or another, even if they're outside of my comfort zone, because a comfort zone doesn't matter when you're trying to comprehend all forms of music.

I've added little stories that describe my feelings when listening to each album. They're quite odd, but I love a little odd now and then.

Space Ambient / Progressive Electronic

"There's corruption everywhere. There's corruption in the shadows of the streets you walk through endlessly without a guide you can see. There's corruption in the neon lights that serve you your beer. There's corruption in the jazz music played at the clubs you pass while going to work. There's corruption in the human. There's corruption in the robot. Whatever rights people claim to kill passively are nothing but another excuse to assume dominance of one form or another. In the end, robots and humans are only different because of their parts."

"With this wand I translate the magics of the universe for all to hear and understand. The forces of good and evil have no limitations when spread across the universe. The ambiguity of philosophy creates evil, where the understanding of it creates good. My wand of light is a sword against the twisted darkness and the tainted wo0rds of our ancestors, so I bring forth a light not seen since the ancient times."

Neoclassical New Age / Electronic

"Upon the seas of life I find a map before unseen, not charting stars from up above but navigating dreams. In desperate times I found myself in poor-man's Shangri-La, with no known way to enter but to fantaize it all. And now I bear a map through all my dreams of childhood, of sailing seas all soaked with blood and battling for good. A theme for total conquest I apply to total peace. For when I find this realm of mine, reality will cease."

"I'm a drug for your soul, and a preacher for your body. I'm the guy on the street that you need to talk to on occasion to keep your life together. I'm everything you need if you're a young man in the 1970's."
