Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Bumped up the rating, your chart definitely isn't as "60s/70s-centric" as it was when I first rated this.
Overall amazing list, I have listened to the Philippine albums and really enjoyed them. Lots in common and overall great diversity in genres. Lots to love in this list and lots to add to my wishlist as well!

There is a lot here I have not listened to, but huge kudos for having Bookends at number 1. I have it at 2!
This must be about the best chart I have ever seen. Its composition is like nothing else I have seen on this site or anywhere else, has some quite good notes (though I will say that they could do more than discuss the best tracks and look at each album’s wider importance) and many very unsual albums. The song list, too, is very good.

fantastic chart.
It starts nicely with some classics, but it shows some pretty unknown and interesting picks besides the mainstream.

Nice chart, as far as 60s/70s-centric charts go, this one is right up my alley. Personally my chart is more slanted towards the recent decades, but this is great.
I'll have to listen to the Philippine albums here

So Time Out is back on! I really like your list still. Good stuff. A little bit too 70s oriented, which is okay since it's such a great decade for music, but I like to see diversity through out the decades and genres. It just shows more of an open mind but eh... I get it. My original list had nearly 40 entries for the 90s lol.
