I do still love Californication and if I had to say why in a word, I would say nostalgia. I grew up listening to songs like Scar Tissue, Otherside, Parallel Universe and of course the title track. Having said that, I listen to the album through much less than I used to and agree that it shouldn't be at the top of this list. You'd probably find Revolver at the top of my list now - I'll make a new one over the summer. Thanks for the comments!

We have a lot of common albums, though I too am slightly surprised by Californication being number 1, be interested to hear why
