Top 100 Band Compilations by mrmcrook

All albums on this list I own and have listened to multiple times. Hence why some crucial ones may be missing. Because I don't have and own it.
Compilations can be great for finding out whether or not a bands studio albums are worth investigating, based on what their (supposed) best songs are.
I've discovered many bands/artists that I had known a couple of tracks of but had no intention of following them further. Until realizing that many of their songs that weren't commercially pushed were way way better than those that were.
And compilations are also a worthy addition to have of bands that you know you have absolutely not a shit show that you'd ever be bothered trolling through their albums

I don't really classify this as a compilation as it's mainly demos, B-sides and other recordings not found on the studio albums. This is my favorite Nirvana album. It's not even grunge. It's rock n roll. [First added to this chart: 08/23/2024]
