Quite underrated. Lots of folks don't have a lot of patience for the Boss's upbeat tributes to pre-Beatles rock, but I love that time of music, and I love all those songs. It's often the grim, pursed-lipped songs that try my tastes. But there are only a few of those. Overall, a splendid double album.

Rush undergo a profound change in approach. Some consider this the end of the line. No, this is their third straight great album.

This, to me, takes the place of the abortive Tormato as the final album of their original main sequence. It's very good for what it is. Don't let the "But... but... John's not there!" whingers dissuade you!

Speaking of ends to classic main sequences - but Bowie would make plenty more great music (although it would be another 36 years before he would produce another great *album*).
