"This album changed my world in 1983. I had a C-cassette that I got from my friend, I just turned it over and over again... Superb and timeless...1990 was a sad year when we lost him. The energy and skill is just unbelievanble"  Reply

"This is insanely good, revelatory even. Black Thought at his best since early Roots, Danger Mouse providing a very clean and modern take on classic beats, and a star studded list of features, each proving why they need to be included rather than being shoved in with nothing to do. Aquamarine is t..."  [+]  Reply

"Really really reaaaally enjoying this album right now. While this album does have a fair amount of pop appeal (looking at the production on Big Fish, as well as Rain Come Down as a whole), it manages to very much have its own sound. "Yeah Right" is contagiously energetic and bombastic to no end, ..."  [+]  Reply

"(Consistent and cohesive debut LP from Magdalena Bay. Some top-tier synthpop - creative, catchy and quite beautiful.) I am a fan of this album. The things I love about great synthpop are here in droves. Those being a charming childlike wonderousness that is infectious when you listen, lots of cat..."  [+]  Reply

"They never did anything like this before, nor after. Many say, and I agree to a certain extent, that this was an attempt to match 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' by The Beatles. There may have been some self-inflicted peer pressure to do something psychedelic but I don't see 'Sgt Pepper' as..."  [+]  Reply

"This a criminally underrated album, and an underrated band in general. As a big fan of new wave, this is one of my favorite albums in the genre. Best tracks: Under the Milky Way, Reptile, Destination, Spark"  Reply

"One of the great r'n'b albums. Mama's gun, deals predominantly with Erykah Badu's break up with Andre 3000, and is an excellent collection of beautiful and original soul. Even if you're not a massive r'n'b fan, Mama's gun, is still an album you might just enjoy. Brilliant."  Reply
