"I think interesting Punk was always designed and this is the most designed Punk I ever listened to. The ex Disco Project of an Ex 60s Beat singer turned out to become a strange and strong musical force. Cabaret Pop, NEU! drum patterns, acted out anger. Out of time and just in time." Reply
"This album from two prominent members of the Who and The Small Faces, is really a little gem. For Ronnie Lane the album came at a point in his career when his Slim Chance project more or less econimically lay in ruins; and worse his multiple sclerosis had just been diagnosed. For Pete Townshend t..." [+] Reply
"Foreign affairs, is Tom Waits' film noir album. It's full of monochrome images of gangsters, loose women, and illicit goings on, it's a very cinematic experience. "As the title implies, this is a more urban record. It's also oriented towards both pop and African-inspired rhythms. Not the best by Gil, but there're a few of good tracks here, my favourite being "Sandra"." Reply
"My favorite song on this album is actually the lone bonus track "Voyage Migrateur", which is mis-labeled as "Le Rêve" (and vice versa) on Apple Music, and maybe elsewhere. I can't put into words just how sublime that track is, or understand why it was left off the album in the first place. It may..." [+] Reply
