"George Harrison's third best behind All Things Must Pass and Brainwashed. This album has some great balladry, excellent melodies and just shows what Harrison was all about."  Reply

As with its predecessor, Brian Wilson's musical contribution is limited, but fortunately the other two Wilson brothers shine with strong song..."  [+]  Reply

"IMO, this is the greatest hard rock debut album of all time. There is not a single bad track on the album; absolutely no filler. Ronnie Montrose is extremely under-rated as a guitar player. It angers me that this album is virtually forgotten by most people when discussing debut albums."  Reply

"Essential listening in the "Mott the Hoople" catalogue, and one of the great albums of the seventies. Stand out tracks are "All the Way from Memphis," "Hymn for the Dudes," and "I wish I were Your Mother," however there isn't a weak song on the entire album. Although Mott's LPs "All the Young Dud..."  [+]  Reply

"Will never forget the first time I put this on the turntable with volume cranked up high. Breaking glass. More glass breaking, Suddenly the breaking glass becomes rhythmic percussion, the exotic instrumentation eases in, and the madness begins. Bravo! Most people (especially those who didn't live..."  [+]  Reply

"A great live album from a great band. Impressive not only for the material but the musicianship. Playing this stuff live and having it sound so good is an incredible feat."  Reply

"The album is not as bad as I'll make it sound but these are real issues. The whole record sounds a like an white easy listening version of black soul. It's a bipolar record where they try to do something sophisticated but also appeal to classy rich people by making it as inoffensive as it can be...."  [+]  Reply

"An all time classic, as well as the beginning of the so-called "Ditch Trilogy" along with On The Beach, and Tonight's The Night, which are classics also. All are HIGHLY recommended."  Reply
