"Varg is a mastermind of this genre. This is arguably one of the best black metal records ever made. It's chaotic, depressing and dark... but also peaceful at the same time, great to relax to."  Reply

"It's barely listenable, the songs have no discernible structures, and each vocal melody sounds like a dog being horribly maimed. I mean, it better be one of the best emo records ever recorded."  Reply

"Even though this album is widely considered a Paul Westerberg solo album for the purposes of this review it will be considered as The Replacements final release The Replacements in many ways echo the career of R.E.M with 'All Shook Down': both darling indi bands who find major label success only ..."  [+]  Reply

"Layered, intelligent, moving, and textured, this album is not just one of the better albums of the 90's, but of all time. Every track on this gem is solid and wonderful, but if you're short on time, give "Afternoon With the Axolotls" a listen. You won't be sorry."  Reply

"Even though the production is very VERY dubious, Nusrat is a force of nature. The album has Tery Bina as its supreme light and what an amazing song that is. The second highlight but clearly far from the quality of Tery Bina is Mustt Mustt which is very funky & groovy. The rest of the album is not..."  [+]  Reply

"It isn't a secret or a surprise that Bush is limited musically. Their follow up to the immensely popular Sixteen Stone has less huge hit singles and more filler. Mouth, Cold Contagious, and Swallowed are top notch Grunge/Alt Songs. The rest of this is merely passable if you love the genre. If you..."  [+]  Reply

"Possibly my favourite band of all time. When I heard they were making another album I was a bit worried. What if it's crap? I was happy with their legacy. But not to worry, this is every bit as good s the two albums that preceded it (nothing beats Angel Dust). They didn't miss a beat.."  Reply
