"This album is a cacophony of joy. Guitars, horns and, "lobotomy beats", you can hear the influences talking over each other like drunk students solo cups in hand at some epic party. Nicotine and Gravy is a highlight towards the end it is punctuated by a James Brown snare onto a Stevie Wonder clav..." [More]

"This was supposed to be a B-Sides or EP. The album didn't even want to release it. It is subdued, varied, and less accessible than Odelay. It is a preview of the melancholy of Sea Change, and the funk of Midnight Vultures. An underrated album in a brilliant catelogue."
