"#5 on my list. The masterpiece of the greatest genius of brazilian music. Few people have understood and loved Brazil as Caetano and this is historic. Valeu, brasucas!"  Reply

"I was impressed by this album way more than I thought I would be, jeez this woman has a voice. Feelin Good and I Put a Spell on You are both incredible songs and it's nice to see Simone give a nod to an amazing artist like Brel (she has an admirable accent for an American but as a French-speaking..."  [+]  Reply

The Harder They Come
Soundtrack compilation
"A very good collection of songs here. The first one, You Can Get It If You Really Want, was the strongest for me. Most the tracks on this album are very uplifting in their mood and there are few which I would call weak. Harder They Come and Sitting In Limbo are also highlights."  Reply

"Most underrated album of 2009 next to Fantasies by Metric. Does this website or do the people on it have something against catchy modern alternative pop/rock music? Because this stuff is actually really good if you drop the preconceptions and just give it a chance. I don’t think there’s a single ..."  [+]  Reply

"I love Kieran Ebden's positive-vibed, light-infused down tempo electronica. It makes for a nice contrast to his sometimes collaborator, Burial, who has a darker, broodier downtempo feel. As such they make for a perfect yin-yang album collection to simply chill out to depending on your mood. Round..."  [+]  Reply

"If we consider the context in which this album was made it is a miracle to have Learning to Fly, Sorrow, One Slip, Dogs of War and On the Turning Away gathered in "Momentary Lapse". In my opinion they are good songs and reflect a great change in Pink Floyd's way to compose and record new stuff. S..."  [+]  Reply

"When 'Babylon' cam bursting on to the airwaves in the year 2000 I was introduced to one of Englands best kept secrets....little did I know that the UK was really only discovering him as well. The singles are stand out, " Please Forgive me' & 'Sail Away'. There are no filler songs here every track..."  [+]  Reply

"If I could only choose one Dinosaur Jr album for the rest of my life, it'd probably be Where you Been. "I must confess, this is my favourite REM album. After Bill Berry left the band had to do something different and this a great leftfield turn. There's certainly no rockers on here, it's more of an electronic album. I wouldn't say there's any great individual tracks, maybe apart from at my most bea..."  [+]  Reply
