"Right now Franz Ferdinand couldn't write a filler even if they wanted to and this album is all killer with each cut a potential single. Not straying from the winning formula they perfected in 2004 i.e.(Blondie + Talking Heads x 1979) the album is a timely reminder of how lucky we are to have them..." [+] Reply

"A beautiful earnest record, with lush orchestration and some of Florence's best songwriting to date. Up there with the best of this year." Reply

"Really fascinating, the feel of an ambient album but her soft yet forceful voice cuts through each song like a saw, giving it an ominious feel among all the ethereal beauty. Definitely something to put on repeat" Reply
"Ryan Adams actually released THREE albums in 2005, two with The Cardinals and one solo album. My favorite of the three is Cold Roses, a double-CD showing off Ryan and the band doing their best Gram Parsons impression, with some pneumonia-era whiskeytown and faint hints of CSNY thrown in. This is ..." [+] Reply

"Not that they had a ton of albums, but this one is the most underrated. They're at the top of their synth-pop game, with danceable beats and snarks on love all-around. Pretty dark in mood and lyrics but all songs are still up-tempo" Reply

"By far the most underrated album I have seen on this site to date. My Morning Jacket can be appreciated by people who are fans of multiple genres. I'm not a big fan of American Dad, but when I found out they dedicated an entire episode to MMJ I had to find it. If you like the show find that episo..." [+] Reply

"This is a great album and very underated, once you hear it you say "oh that song" and so on, it's kinda strange how it doesn't get the same kind of ratings or fame as kick, the album is good in the regard that it has some very well known tracks, you could say it's a hidden gem of Inxs albums." "I've downloaded a collection of Spoon's best songs and have listened to them for about 8 months. I've recently started to dive into their full albums. Transference may not be the catchiest, nor most raucous, collection of songs, but it's probably the most consistent. Most of the songs I gave a 75..." [+] Reply

"Very much like Melophobia. There is not a track here I dislike, very fun, just not amazing. Though, definitely not 170th for 2015." Reply
"Tom waits described his new album as 'cubist funk', and on the brilliant second track, hoist this rag, you can see what he means. Real gone, is probably Tom Waits' most challenging record. It's full of clattering blues and beautiful acoustic based songs. Opener, top of the hill, is scratchy rock ..." [+] Reply
