"The idea of Wilco's return to alt country stylings is welcome, but...A few too many plodding numbers and an unfortunate dearth of classic Wilco weirdness and experimentation leave this sprawling release wading in the shallow waters of their career. That's not to say there's nothing worth listenin..."  [+]  Reply

"“Ooh Rap I Ya” fills every part of the ear. The production is broad and encompassing. It takes the lushness of vaporwave and pulls it over the weight of 90’s dance. Every time a track starts, you are enveloped in a wave of synths. There is a great moment on “Punching Down” where, halfway through ..."  [+]  Reply

"Disregard what shaydndepriest says about mediocre. From start to finish, this is classic 2000s Low. Following the more stripped down "The Invisible Way", they've returned to the more expansive minimalism found on "Things We Lost in the Fire". More present than ever, Mimi Parker's voice helps Ones..."  [+]  Reply

"Very laid back acoustic sort of album. It wouldn't come as a surprise if this was recorded on a cold and grey beach like the one on the album cover. Boat Behind and Peacetime Resistance are both great but most of the others sound a bit too plain for me."  Reply

"“Warm Chris” is carried by Harding’s vocal skill. She switches between gentle whispers, cartoonish repeats, and soulful croons with ease. The different styles keep the album surprising and make the songs feel their own. Unfortunately, the instrumentals fall into much more predictable coffee shop ..."  [+]  Reply

"An interesting detour for one of the greatest bands. Black Sabbath was a great force with multiple singers including Ian Gillan. This album is heavy and short and kicks ass. It doesn’t have that signature hit but it’s sum is greater than its parts."  Reply
