"The original Tubular Bells is a classic and was even ahead of it's time. But the synths on this are so dated. It somehow sounds even more dated than the original that came out 19 years before it. They finally hit their stride with this, a big improvement on the previous realeases, and self titled the album as a sign of it, somethink not often done on for a 4th album.
