"Side one is better than side two, but still an overall "what the hell just happened", whirlwind of an album." Reply

"This album was more than a surprise for me, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did at all. It seems like it has influences sprawling from The Antlers to even twinkly early emo bands like American Football. I can't recommend this album enough, it's full of raw emotion and tight instrumentals...." [+] Reply
"Great album by Iggy ! I love the stuff he did with Bowie but New Values feels more like a real Iggy Pop record, it's more raw and guitar-driven, with some silly lyrics. It's the Iggy I like the most." Reply
"Hey listener! Do you like Sonic Youth, early Dinosaur Jr, and Destroy All Monsters? This is exactly like all of those things in a blender with some lovely warped fidelity." Reply

"Great soundtrack from a great movie. I get goose bumps whenever I think if that story. Fav songs: Sugar Man, Crucify Your Mind, Cause, Can't Get Away, I Think Of You and I'll Slip Away" Reply
"A radical change of direction from their earlier punk days but still an excellent album. Shadow of Love and Edward The Bear are wonderful tracks" Reply
"Not sure why they aren‘t massive. Ok, no art rock with a whiny singer. That might explain the position on this site. Instead you get highly energized indie soul (?), very catchy, adictive with some sort of a dirty street vibe. Very enjoyable album." Reply
"Such a mixed bag. Not sure how the same artist can write a track like Live & Let Die or Band on the Run as well as Ebony & Ivory." Reply
