"I know its a generalization, but why is it that all freshman albums by rappers end up being very amateur and unoriginal? Good album, not terrible, but certainly not worth several replays. It has its moments, but as a whole, it doesn't do justice like his second and third album. 6.4"  Reply

"Stevie's best album from the 60's , the title track, Shoo Be Doo & I Don't Know Why being the stand out tracks. I'd Be A Fool.., You Met Your Match & I'm More Than Happy are also great tracks. The last 4 tracks however drag the album down to 80/100."  Reply

"Aimee Manns latest album, "Mental Illness" is her hitherto most subdued; almost unplugged acoustic. There is a marked change compared to its predecessor "Charmer" from 2012 and in particular in relation to the album released as "The Both" with Ted Leo, which could be labelled as power-pop ala Foo..."  [+]  Reply

"A partial show recording from Bruce's triumphant return home after circling the globe with a reunited E Street Band. This tour is what solidified Bruce as one of my favorite artists and therefore holds a special place in my heart. If he'd released a full show instead of this chopped up piece of o..."  [+]  Reply

"The Long Ryders debut made a lot of waves in the underground scene of the 1980s. The band brought about a rockabilly revival, inspired by the folk rock of the Byrds and the lyrical depth of R.E.M. Their debut "Native Sons" was a major influence on independent folk and Americana bands. Aside from ..."  [+]  Reply

"The follow up to voodoo lounge is still nothing special, but it's an improvement on the previous album. It's starts off with another lazy rocker, flip the switch, which is almost stones by numbers, but it's followed by anybody seen my baby, which is better, a smoky, sultry groover which has been ..."  [+]  Reply

"From the sumptuous strings of the intro, through to the chatting with the ‘tree people’ (who are hanging around the edge of the theatre to catch a free view of the concert) everything about this album is piping hot comfort.
