This album was described to me by a Grateful Dead fan as "kind of obscure". "Kind of obscure" is a bit of an understatement in my opinion, but it's still a quality record. There's a little something for everyone here and it does justice to its title. The source material is mostly "kid appropriate" rather than "directly aimed at kids", which is refreshing. Other than that, it's just Jerry playing some killer leads and singing some silly songs.
I would be proud to raise my kids on this album if I ever wanted to ruin my life by having children.
