Never quite delivers the bite you want and expect it to, but Crows certainly have their moments on their debut record. A surprisingly diverse blend of noise rock and post-punk elements that remain light enough for easy listening but tough enough to have some grit to them. It is developed and well paced, but I just never got to a moment where my interest was peaked. A decent record nonetheless: Demeanour is a charming, punky little tune whilst Crawling and Chain of Being stand as my favourite tracks.
