Recorded as a side-project for a different record company this is an odd mix of styles - it styles itself as a live vaudeville show of Brechtian murder ballads, (it's not live just canned crowd samples), and while some of the music fits that theme, suddenly it will move from psuedo-barrel organ music to synth-pop to classical acoustic guitar. All the music is quite weird and experimental though. Each song is sung in a different voice or accent some of them quite over-the-top. So it's a mixed bag, but there are lots of interesting moments. The jaunty 'Last of the Window Cleaners' is probably the highlight.
