An expansive compilation tracing the history of jazz fusion/soft rock innovators Steely Dan released in 2006, traces the hits the mellow (primarily duo) group performed over their thirty year existence. MCA/Geffen (Cat#: B0006752-02) consulted with Becker and Fagen during the compiling and allowed the two to select the tracks. Most of their albums are represented by at least one track, with their debut being most represented with 3 tracks. For those listeners who would only like a sampler of Steely Dan, this is an album to have. Authenticated on discogs.com
