Let me put aside everything else about this band, and just address the music. Ignoring the first track, which is just alien gibberish, the first side of the album is not bad at all. 70's glam rock, peaking with Rocket Roll which is a real banger. Then the B side of the album switches to mostly progressive rock? Prog- glam? Not my style, but reminds me a lot of Styx or Yes. I do like Blues On Blue. But the 10-minute "Horizon Suite" and the "Nativity Trilogy" (split into the last 3 tracks) are too long and slow for my liking. Overall, there's definitely something here. Is the gimmick weird with all the space lyrics? Sure... but if Dennis DeYoung can sing about Mr. Roboto, there's nothing wrong with this. Still, kind of obvious why this act didn't hit the mainstream. I could see this album selling 6 or 7 years earlier - but no, not in 1982. Check it out - you might find a couple of hidden gems.
