Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 80.5/100, a mean average of 79.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.5.

Absolute peak album, it´s overhated in my opinion and one of the best beatles albums. Dig A Pony, Across The Universe, Let It Be, I´ve Got A Feeling, The Long And Winding Road and Get Back are the best songs i like the raw rock songs mentioned but also the fragile and soft songs from Mcartney.

A classic album.

This has some great tracks on it. Across The Universe, Let It Me, the arrangement of Maggie Mae is great. I Me Mine and For You Blue are very good tracks and then you have The Long And Winding Road (One of my favourite Beatles songs) and Get Back.

Not particularly familiar with the film but the album stands on it's own.

Good album, but some songs could be excluded.

For their final outing it feels like they went out with their best songwriting. Not their most experimental, or groundbreaking or cohesive album, but it feels like it has learned from everything they did previously and puts those lessons into a perfect package.

Not a bad album. Not a disaster. Not anyone's most flattering work. It's a bummer note for The Beatles to end their studio career on, even if it's an unintentional ending all the same. The songwriting is there, if not quite as invigorated as the rest of this period, but Phil Spector's production is inoffensive at best and garish at worst.

A very inconsistent record by the Beatles with some of the songs being absolutely incredible and others just being pretty weak or boring. The songs that are on the better end of the spectrum are Across The Universe, Let It Be, The Long And Winding Road and Get Back. Pretty much every other track is filler and is nowhere near the standards of their previous releases. Songs like Dig It and Maggie Mae are completely useless in my opinion and I know they are short but they serve no real purpose on here. You can see the cracks starting to form in the music as well and this record, unlike some of their others, isn't better for it. Overall, an up and down release from a group whose cohesiveness was really fading by this point and so a pretty weak album by their standards was created.

Title track is one the best songs ever written, and my favourite Beatles track. Long and Winding Road and Across the Universe are also brilliant. The rest of the album is nothing special, although I've Got A Feeling and Get Back are nice.

Not the greatest Beatles album but there are a lot of highlights and only a few duds in the tracklist
