Una gran banda muy infravalorada. Tiene estupendos discos.
Very underrated band who produced some great songs that were not a whiter shade of pale. In Held Twas In I is a classic 20min prog song, but check out Whaling Stories or Homburg as beautofully observed songs.
Intelligent, understated progressive rock, often with a blues leaning. At times, they’re a bit too understated for my tastes, and I have to work a bit to appreciate what they’re doing. But, while never really reaching the high bar they set with their first album in the summer of love, Procol continued on for quite a while, mostly under the radar, to produce thoughtful, interesting music. They started to lose steam after Grand Hotel, in ’73, though, producing fewer genuine moments of interest.
