Thanks for the comments so far. @ an outlaw, yes I agree, they are a bit in the past - perhaps dating myself a bit, but great music is what it is, and while there are so many great albums up from up and coming artists, my top 2 are solid for me (for now) because I can continually go back to them (and have over the decades) and still find greatness in them. I like your suggestion of Japandroids - I do have Celebration Rock, but have not had the opportunity to listen to it enough times to include it in my top 40. Also, yes, my chart does go in many directions as I do not like to think of music as anything than be cast into a specific preference. If it is truly good music, I will most likely enjoy it. Bach to Pantera, and everything in between...true art is undeniable.
