I don't pretend that this is anything but an entirely personal list of my favorite recordings. That is why Misplaced Childhood is first, the Beatles don't show up and I have The Wall as the top Pink Floyd album. A list of the Greatest ever would involve examing things like historical significance, influence and consensus of opinion. Those things were not considered in this list.
