A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Biograph is an odd selection, but otherwise, I love your chart. It's great that you've included such foundational artists like Robert Johnson and Woody Guthrie.

Love your chart !! I'm crazy for all things post-punk (and proto-), but still haven't heard "Vs." :( I'm also really fond of the Pretenders on here - wish I could squeeze them onto my chart ! Oh, and YMG are simply awesome!

Yeh, I also feel they deserve a wider audience, they are all fantastic.. I used to have the policy of "One album per artist" and 10 albums per major decade until recently went for a change might go back to it.. I like that you know your folk music pretty well, John Prine's album is really good, so is Robert Johnson's.. And your list was the first list I have seen to include Woody Guthrie a presonal favourite of mines, but always misses out on my chart.. Great chart
