The transition into becoming an adult are a lot harder than I thought it would be. And I have been rethinking a few things from my very short time in being an adolescent. Let's just say it was (insert A Tale of Two Cities quote here). But in growing up you seem to have the feeling that you're growing *out* of the things you once loved dearly and that you have devoted a lot of your youth to. Ever since May (more specifically after I saw Viet Cong live) I have been slowly growing out of my love for music. I thought it was a phase I was going through. But it wasn't. It has now gotten to the point where I can't even finish full albums unless I force myself to. It honestly was a chore for me. Yes, there are still a few select artists that I have loved through this dry spell (namely artists that I had already knew about and I'm only now just being enamoured with), but I can't look back at any album that I once considered a favourite with that much motivation anymore.
I want to put the past behind me and not have a false reflection of my taste linger up my chart. So this chart is specifically for capturing the moment where I last felt genuinely content with my tastes and not feel like I was living a lie. That's not to say that *none* of these albums will show up again on my overall. I guess only time will tell. Also my notes will not be present here because I can't write shit that's convincing enough for this kind of chart anymore.

Like the idea for this chart, especially since your chart back when it was public was my favorite and it kinda was the reason I fell in love with this site. Sorry to hear about your fall out of love with music, it happens to me on and off truthfully. Love these records though, and I wish you luck with whatever you find now.
