great list, couple one i don't know. check out blakroc, Rza, Odb, ludacris, Mos Def with the black keys and a few others.
why not more immortal technique ?

Love it. Not alot of hip hop fans on this site so it's refreshing. I own most of your list but seriously I think AZ - Doe or Die is terrible, just my opinion but I can't stand it.
Aside from that, good work.

Hmmm...i love rap and own half your list, but thier's more to music than one genre. As a list of greatest albums meh!...as a list of brillant rap albums gold :) will check your link for your best albums :)

Great choices, and I like the order too (for a strictly hip-hop list). Illmatic deserves #1, although MBDTF should be up just a few spots. Your 30-50 are also very good.
