So I'm probably not going to update this chart anymore. Theres just so much good music and its impossible to rank them because every genre, artist, and album does its own thing. So instead of trying to rank them as my taste in music continues to grow, I'm just going to leave this here and have it as a history of my music tastes from the ages 14-18. These 100 albums mean so much to me and will always be some of my favorites.

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Great chart, I'm a big fan of a ton of these picks -- I say maybe branch out and try to cut down the amount of artists that appear multiple times; this is definitely a list dominated by a few musicians at the top. Of course, everyone you have up there is fantastic, but the charts are just generally more fun with more variety. But hey, this is your chart, and if these are your favorites so be it! Nice chart, man.

solid list! I guess you've gotta update your Late Registration comment. Also, seeing as you like Death Grips and Kanye, I'm surprised you don't have Yeezus on here. I think its his masterpiece, personally
