Enjoyed your chart. Starting off strong with The Cure (and many others of theirs like17 Seconds, an often forgotten but classic Cure album) later shifting into some great shoe-gazers in between and ending with DIIV -very underrated. A diverse list which is always interesting, but still with a consistent theme. A bit on the brooding side, but in a good way. Truth be told I have Wham in my chart so who in the heck am I to comment on brooding?
BTW loved your White Stripes inclusions too.

Bloody brilliant chart love all the Cure and Kanye and Chilli Peppers. I was listening to some John Frusciante the other night. I like his take on Song To The Siren. Its good. So is this chart.

Pretty nice chart, maybe a little repetitive at the start but it gets more diverse as you get deeper into it. Really good starting place for someone to get into alternative music, lots of classics. Could use a bit more personal touch as this almost looks like a compilation of critically acclaimed alt music, if I were you I would dig a little deeper, there's a lot left to discover
