Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Terrific nineties chart! I love OK Computer (doesn't everyone?), Nevermind, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, The Low End Theory, and many of your other selections. I also consider Buena Vista Social Club to be an excellent top ten pick, as it's an album that unjustly flies under some people's radar. Great work on this chart!
