If an album is in my top 100 albums of all time, it will not appear here. This is where I will get a lot of help from my teenage son. He is much more aware of what is happening nowadays as I am usually looking backwards to my old favourites. BUT you should always try to look at what is happening now. There will always be great music out there. I keep looking, but just with less energy spent.

These hairy old men can really rock. Warren Ellis runs this show live with his violin and effects pedals. Wonderful band. Will there be a third album or should the stop now.

This a change of direction for the consistently brilliant Eels. There are more electronic instruments on here.

The Fall will always have an album in every decade chart I produce. Obviously this doesn't include the 1960s or earlier. That would just be foolish.

King Creosote gets together with Emma Pollock, Future Pilot and others to produce a great album. The band formed in 2006, after the musicians met at Burnsong, a Scottish songwriting retreat.

Yet another super offering from Efrim and his mates. His ideas for songs are so different from anything else. I always enjoy the packaging of his albums too. This one is a bit upside down.

The band challenge themselves to produce something massive. They just about pull it off. We Want War is an amazing tune. You can buy this album as a book with all the music written out for you.

This is the vwersion of Faust with Jan Fride, Hans Joachim Irmler, Steven W Lobdell, Lars Paukstat & Michael Stoll. This has great packaging. I particularly like the lack on black discs. They look as if they are not in the packaging.

I love your chart.
It´s pretty different from mine with a lot of alternative rock.
I checkt out some of the artists I didn´t know:
Always cool music.
Thanks for having Thurston Moores underrated solo album.
What do you think of the "Miraculous Mule"? I discoverd them recently and it´s growing. I guess you could like it?
