This chart is not done or in the perfect order yet, I'm slowly working in it and I think it might never be finished. I wish there was a way to make things have a tie on this website.

Top 45 Greatest Music Albums ratings
Average Rating = (n ÷ (n + m)) × av + (m ÷ (n + m)) × AVwhere:
av = trimmed mean average rating an item has currently received.
n = number of ratings an item has currently received.
m = minimum number of ratings required for an item to appear in a 'top-rated' chart (currently 10).
AV = the site mean average rating.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 82.3/100, a mean average of 80.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.0/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.7.

When I saw there was one 90's album, I instantly knew it was ITAOTS.
Some very very good albums here, as well as many mediocre albums. You're definitely true to yourself, which is good. The only real "flaw" is out modern-centric it is, but I'm sure you know that. Check out some of the earlier decade lists on this site to expand your horizons.
Overall, good start and I hope you stick around!

Nothing wrong with modern... but the comments here are pretty apt.

I respect many choices from your list, not bad taste at all and proud to see you have many of them from the 2010s, finally someone who isn't a 60s/70s fanatic, and who only believe only "good music" came from those times

Given the username, I was expecting Aeroplane as number one, but that's fine. You would have probably gotten an 80 because this is a good list, but I have to mark people down when 1 and 2 are given to the same artist (no matter how much I like Bon Iver). Other than that, these are some good choices

I don't know how to rate this...deep down inside, I love it...but I can't seem to take it as a serious chart...Ah well. It is the sort of chart I like to pick some albums that I haven't heard off of though.
