The Best Album By the Best Band Ever
Its so amazing how in a span of 3 years they change from "Love me do" to "Tomorrow never knows"
This album has everything from Romantic Ballads to Art Rcok and Experimental
My only "disappointment" is that the singles "Rain" and "Paperback Writer" are not on the album
Nevertheless another masterpiece from the Fab Four
Art Rock, Baroque, Psychedelia, Avant Pop, Acid Rock
Best Song: Tomorrow Never Knows / Eleanor Rigby / I'm Only Sleeping [First added to this chart: 07/28/2019]
Best Debut Album of All Time
Lou Reed and John Cale what a perfect and ahead of its time duo, From the Iconic album cover to the production of Andy Warhol and the amazing Art rock and Proto-punk songs that will shock you if you are in the mood
Track by Track a masterpiece that at time of release was real underground music and with cero praise
In my opinion no other album has influenced (Created) so many artists and genres than this one
Art Rock, Proto Punk, Avant Pop, Psychedelic Rock
Best Song: Heroin / Sunday Morning / Venus in Furs [First added to this chart: 07/28/2019]
The Perfect Goodbye from the best Songwriting Partnership and the most influential band of all time
The 2 George songs are AMAZING, John Songs are Excellent but the Medley is Perfect, Paul is almost the responsible for the medley and almost all songs are from him, the song The End closer the greatest chapter in contemporary music history
Im not sure if this is better than Revolver, both are awesome albums
Progressive Rock. Art Pop, Rock
Best Songs: Medley / Something / I Want You (Shes So Heavy) [First added to this chart: 07/28/2019]
This is the album that for a period of time put The Beach Boys (Particulary Brian Wilson) tied with Lennon/Mccartney in terms of musicianship and taking the music in the mid 60's forward creating some all time classics
This is what happens when a genius stop touring and focus just 1 year in a music studio trying to create the ultimate album, the vocals here are so precise, so well crafted, its difficult to believe this album has almost 56 years with some of the greatest songs ever i mean who doesn't like God Only Knows????
Composed, Produced and arranged by Brian Wilson with help of Tony Asher
Art Rock, Psychedelic Pop, Chamber, Progressive Pop
God Only Knows, / I Just Wasn't Made For These Times / Sloop John B [First added to this chart: 07/29/2019]
The Very First Progressive Rock Album
Oh man what are this 5 guys doing back in 1969 ???!!!
They all are really really excellent musicians, its brilliant how the songs change from absolute chaos (in a good way) to beautiful harmonic in 2 seconds also the lyrics are poesy !!
combined Jazz with Classical and Rock!!! creating the fundaments for my favorite Rock sub-genre, i think this is an essential album for anyone who likes and wants to know more about music
Robert Fripp, Greg Lake, Ian Mcdonald, Michael Giles, Peter Sinfield all genius of the 20th century
Progressive Rock / Jazz / Classical
Epitaph / 21st Century Man / The Court of the King Crimson [First added to this chart: 07/28/2019]
Jim Morrison on Stage perfomance and vocals together with Ray Manzarek Keyborad and Organ greatness are one of my favorite All Time Duo's
This debut album is almost perfect just saying this one is package with The End, Break on Trough and Light My Fire, i really can listen to Manzarek Keyboard and Organ deliver on this one All day long, Jim's voice is like a Shaman calling you to discover your soul in a world of mysticism and excesses so profound and so crazy
I really think the 70s were going to be The Doors Decade, sadly we will never know

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 9% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 88.2/100, a mean average of 90.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.5/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 9.6.
