89.833* Epic album. Best from Rainbow. Last two songs being two of the greatest songs written. Couple of tracks stop it getting the almighty 100 rating but we can overlook that. Second behind 'Heaven & Hell' for any of Dio's work. Up there with Blackmore's best. 01/26

86.42 This was the last of the Zeppelin I got well after I had all others. Hence I always had a weariness that it wouldn't live up to the glory of all others before. So it took a bit before fully appreciating the greatness of it. Sure, they have better albums, but this is still fucking shit hot. Very guitar driven rhythms and riffs. Zeppelin do no wrong

86.00* I got this after I'd bought 'British Steel' & 'Screaming for Vengence'. Very different to both of those. Bit more proggy with some slower songs included. Took a bit to get used to but quickly grew on me to become one of my favorite Priest albums. Halford's vocals on this are sublime, showcasing how incredible his range was. 11/25

82.571* Shit hot debut. The worlds introduction to the Ramones. The do recycle their riffs a bit on this and on future albums, but overall, it didn't matter. They were the kings of garage punk rock. Brilliant. Long live the Ramones 12/25

80.115* The first BOC I bought. At the time I thought it was going to be quite metal-ish so was a lot lighter than expected. But recently I've a newfound appreciation for it and it's shot up in my rankings. (Must be an age thing) Great classic rock. 02/26

80.00 Great album but probably the weakest in the Bon Scott arsenal (we wont count the Australian version of High Voltage). Even on saying that it's still better and stronger than the vast majority of rock albums put out. Personal note; "Ain't no fun" is my pick for favorite AC/DC song

If you were expecting an album built around the hit single, think again. Nearly every song on this is just as, or very close to being just as strong as 'More Than a Feeling'. Very consistent with most having that classic rock feel. You can hear shades of early Uriah Heep coming through if you were looking at any comparison. Worthy of it's status as a classic 70's album. 02/24

78.33* ELO had a unique style of being a cross pollination of pop and prog. Some great tracks on this. Some vocals having a John Lennon-esque sound to them 05/25

75.818* Bryan was quite exceptional when you think about it. He was with Roxy Music as well as putting out solo albums so his musical output was quite massive. And most of his albums from this era are really good. The title track of this being my favorite of anything to come out of Bryan's mouth. 02/26
