85.00 Epic album. Best from Rainbow. Last two songs being two of the greatest songs written. Couple of tracks stop it getting the almighty 100 rating but we can overlook that. 86.42 This was the last of the Zeppelin I got well after I had all others. Hence I always had a weariness that it wouldn't live up to the glory of all others before. So it took a bit before fully appreciating the greatness of it. Sure, they have better albums, but this is still fucking shit hot. Very guitar driven rhythms and riffs. 82.77 I got this after I'd bought 'British Steel' & 'Screaming for Vengence'. Very different to both of those. Bit more proggy with some slower songs included. Took a bit to get used to but quickly grew on me to become one of my favorite Priest albums. Halford's vocals on this are sublime, showcasing how incredible his range was. 80.00 Great album but probably the weakest in the Bon Scott arsenal (we wont count the Australian version of High Voltage). Even on saying that it's still better and stronger than the vast majority of rock albums put out. If you were expecting an album built around the hit single, think again. Nearly every song on this is just as, or very close to being just as strong as 'More Than a Feeling'. Very consistent with most having that classic rock feel. You can hear shades of early Uriah Heep coming through if you were looking at any comparison. 73.63 This album gets a lot of stick for being rubbish. I actually like it. Again sticking with a concept formula, there's a lot more slower, less rocking songs than his other earlier work.
