Top 10 Greatest Music Albums
by Mitszki Unknown

Not necessarily in any particular order, but still in relative succession none the less. Mostly rock focused because they aren't many good 'albums' for electronic dance music or art music like classical.

Not even necessarily this one particular live album by them, you can take any other high-ranking shows they've recorded and put it here instead and I'd be satisfied all the same. Nothing but appreciation for live bands that grasp their own form of music by the neck and make it something that can expand and twist and turn at every opportunity they can utilize it. People who shit on this band have no idea what they're talking about most of the time, they outclass the vast majority of rock musicians without even going out of their way to.

As much as I loved this album, I can only very rarely listen to it. I've never heard music before that perfectly captures sadness and depression like this. I don't mean that "oh I'm kinda bummed out and depressed" kind of 'depression,' I mean that 'can't get up or move your body at all that's how pressing this debilitating condition is' real ass depression that only a certain amount of people can say they've experienced. Music that can provoke such an intense feeling is not only rare, but downright scarce. That's why I appreciate it for what it is.

Most of how I described Electro-Shock Blues can apply to this album as well, although not nearly as devastating and a lot more personal on my part simply because of my history with this album and the artist in particular. I associate this album with many moments of my life where I had to grow up and be the bigger person in a given situation, it's not something that can resonate with anyone and because of that, I understand why it's not commonly put among the best albums ever. But there is something that Westerberg is capable of creating that very few, if no other, sing-songwriters also can replicate. Very hard to describe, but it's a very real emotion.

The pinnacle of jazz music. I'm gonna shut up now cause unlike popular music I don't like to insult the great artistic minds of art music with my diatribe about how my life was changed by their music that was not intended to have an impact on such. I still love it more than most things, though, that's gotta count for something, right? Whatever.
