Recently listened to this year for #5albums11. The main thing I noticed was that there were so many albums with deliberately lo-fi production. Also album lengths seemed to be shorter. There seemed to be a bit of a krautrock revival going on and I loved those albums. There were lots of weird and experimental ambient works but strangely I couldn't get into any of them.
