I'm thrilled to see Closing Time in your #1 spot, which is where it appears on my seventies chart as well. Other excellent choices include Innervisions (I've loved Stevie Wonder since I was a kid), Excitable Boy (Warren Zevon is a treasure), and Blue (depressing, but wonderful). Great stuff!

Very different from my 70s chart, but some very interesting picks. Warren Zevon is terribly underrated. I kind of question the high ranking of Goats Head Soup (good album....but not better than Exile or Let it Bleed IMO) but lots of good stuff here nevertheless.
