"if we both kind of stumble maybe i’ll say hi (Severed Lips) why won’t you be my friend I’d love to hold you now even it was just pretend (Quest) Nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd. "He recorded 5 albums for Geffen in the 1980's this IMO is the best. Not a great Young album but better than its current position (40th out of 55) As the title suggests it is a folk/country album. Misfits and Bound for Glory are the best tracks."  Reply

"Beautifully written. Even though Dvorak was a composer from the romantic era and a strong defender of traditional music, his sound has a unequivocal hint of modernity. The philharmonic supreme execution under Karajan's masterful dynamic control makes it a very intense listening. Smetana's composi..."  [+]  Reply

"Putting this in my boom box made me feel like just about the coolest 14 year old white kid around in 1985, but on further reflection it's a patchy collection of songs that relfects a new(er) genre struggling to find an identity. Only the closing song, "Daryl and Joe", embodies the rich, layered s..."  [+]  Reply

"I love this band's early stuff. This is along with Vengeance one of their two best albums. Title track No Rest is a storming anthem and one of my favourite all time tracks."  Reply

"I find this to be Pete's crowning achievement as a solo artist. Every cut is worthwhile as a stand alone and contributes to the whole as well. About half the cuts are worthy of being bona fide classics. There is definitely some 80s production at the fore, but it doesn't detract from the undeniabl..."  [+]  Reply

"I still remember the quite pointless debate among fans: 'Tokyo Tapes' or 'World Wide Live'?. My answer as always been: "why you just can't have both"? They belong to different eras, with different line-ups and a completely different tracklist. 'Tokyo Tapes' is really a heavy album, while this one..."  [+]  Reply
